Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and informs you of receiving a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, number (45102859), dated (28/6/1445 AH). The letter refers to the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing letter number (1/4500652729), dated (26/6/1445 AH), regarding the minutes of meeting number (26) of the Committee of Their Excellencies and Happiness, the concerned ministers for municipal affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, held on (24/2/1445 AH) via visual communication technology. The meeting included the fifth item, "Council's decision on the conditions and mechanism for the classification of contractors," approving the "Guidance Manual for the Classification Mechanism of Contractors in the Construction and Building Sector for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries" as a reference guide.
In the spirit of collaboration with the private sector and raising awareness among contracting and engineering consulting establishments about the importance of reviewing the guide, and in pursuit of increasing business opportunities for companies and achieving the desired quality by improving performance in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the Asharqia Chamber facilitates access to this guide for all private sector establishments.
